Prior to Johnson & Johnson, Stephen was the Managing Director of Asia Pacific for Kybora Emerging Markets (formerly called Torreya-EM, the emerging markets arm of Torreya Partners). He has worked with small to big pharma companies in the region on both buy-/sell-side licensing and M&A opportunities, as well as raising capital. He was also with Ventac Partners – a global business development catalyst for the Life Sciences industry – managing its Hong Kong office. Stephen has over 20 years experience in the life sciences sector; he has founded and worked for biotech start-ups (TianXing Biopharmaceutical, LifeQual Pharmaceuticals) in various capacities – most recently as the CEO of CASiGEN Pharma, a biotech start-up developing a novel drug candidate for type 2 diabetes. His experience also spans across consulting (Ventac Partners, Bio-Enabler, 3V SourceOne Capital, Applied Strategies), equity research (First State Investments), and patent law (USPTO). Stephen is an experienced facilitator of bringing together investment opportunities and funding; he has been doing business development, market analysis, as well as technology and IP review for various Life Sciences related companies in the US, Europe and Asia. Stephen obtained his PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Oxford and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Dr Cecilia Tsui is a senior executive, possessing experiences in business, education, and training. Cecilia is a Serial Entrepreneur, and Director of consulting companies, and an Adviser (Management Education & Research) of the Peter Drucker Academy Hong Kong. Dr Tsui is developing an MBA course on “Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Technological Change” with a leading American Scholar. Cecilia is a lifelong learner holding qualifications in various disciplines, including PhD in Quality Assurance in Higher Education (UCL), MSt in Interdisciplinary Design for the Built Environment (Cantab), MBA (Australian Graduate School of Management, UNSW), MEd in Administration & Management (HKU). She is a
Companion and a Chartered Manager of the Chartered Management Institute.

Dr Cecilia Tsui is the Founder and Executive Director of Innovation Forum Hong Kong, part of the Global Innovation Forum. The Innovation Forum HK is a base for developing initiatives in Greater China / Asia Pacific. In recent years, Cecilia has been serving as a judge and a mentor for universities’ innovation and entrepreneurship programmes. Also, Dr Cecilia Tsui is a mentor of the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership’s (CISL’s) Accelerator Programme.

Yizhou is currently a graduate student at the University of Cambridge, researching Alzheimer's Disease. His research combines molecular neuroscience research in fruit flies with extensive human data from the UK Biobank to elucidate the mechanisms of neurodegeneration. He aims to develop better therapies to alleviate the consequences of neurodegenerative diseases.

Previous to this, he completed a BSc degree at Imperial College London in Biological Sciences. During his BSc, Yizhou was elected as Vice-President of the Royal College of Science Union (2019), Departmental Representative (2018) and Year Representative (2017). He also founded and chaired the Sleep Society to raise awareness on the importance and science behind sleep. In Canada, Yizhou also founded a small business to care for autistic children.

For his role as the Head of Branch at Cambridge, Yizhou wishes to leverage his experience in start-ups, research and healthcare to support business initiatives in Cambridge to shape a better society.
